We invest in the following portfolio classes

We invest in liquid, ultra-short term debt funds, direct arbitrage and hedged options.

We invest directly in real estate: pre-leased commercial & structured property deals.

We primarily invest in stocks directly based on our fundamental research.
We also have some investments in select PMS run by trusted portfolio managers.

High Risk:

We invest in Real Estate NCDs, secured ICDs, IRFs, currency futures, preference shares and stock options. We provide flexible financing through structured debt to companies that are unable to raise capital through banks.

Medium Risk:

We invest in corporate bonds, preference shares & duration funds.

Low Risk:

We invest in short-term bond funds, tax-free bonds & government securities. We invest in long-short equity schemes, stressed asset funds, PE Funds, InvITs & AIF that have an exit option and do direct arbitrage in stocks.

We invest in promising startups to help them bloom and build a brighter growth story, directly or via funds.

Mr. Ajay Bhartiya
Managing Director and Founder

Mr. Ajay Bhartiya graduated from the Sydenham College of Commerce with a Bachelor in commerce. He has a vast experience of 30 years in financial and investing activities.

Due to the declining return on capital in the textile business, Mr. Bhartiya began allocating the capital of the company to the financial markets.

A firm believer of “Anubhav (experience to know it)”, a poet & teacher at heart, he leads from the front.

Mr. Veer Bhartiya
Director

Mr. Veer Bhartiya graduated Cum Laude from The University of California Los Angeles, with a major in Business Economics.

He has worked previously at JP Morgan Asset Management and Osowsky Capital in the US before joining Pico Capital as a Director.

He is also the Founder of Maiz Hospitality, a Mexican fast food casual chain in India, with 2 outlets in Mumbai. It has raised Angel rounds aiming at growth across outlets, catering services and product sales in 2021.

Ms. AARTI BHARTIYA CHHABRIA
Director

Aarti is a serial entrepreneur, inspired educationist and a socially driven individual. She has founded three companies in the education & travel sectors while receiving global recognition for her work and opportunities to speak at TEDx, Universities and community platforms. She has weaved a robust network of CXO’s, Founders, Investors in her 15 years of work across sectors.

Her clear communication skills, decision-making and focus on relationship-building make her a leader for the millennials!

Mrs. Shilpa Bhartiya
Director

Mrs. Shilpa Bhartiya graduated from the Sydenham College of Commerce with a Bachelors in Commerce. She is also an inter-CA and first LLB.

She is an active social worker and has previously served as the President of the Inner Wheel Club of Bombay North. She currently takes on various independent social impact projects and heads CSR at PICO.
